In what ended up being a surprising turn of events, Brazil’s run for the World Cup were ended at the hand of Holland who managed to come through and bring home the win, moving them on to the Finals this coming Sunday against Spain. South American’s will however still be able to show their support for their fallen but beloved team country by scooping up this Nike Zoom Hyperfuse in their nations colors.
The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse “Brazil” is one of a few upcoming Hyperfuse’s paying tribute to select FIFA participants. For this Brazil edition Nike obviously went with the colors of the country with varsity maize being the primary color choice for the base and accents of classic green worked in on the ankle padding and on the sole, and varsity royal on the Swoosh. There’s no shot providing a clear shot of it but we can tell you that “Brasil” is printed along the side of the ankle.

With the 2009/2010 season over, it’s time for Nike to prepare for the 2010/2011 season and that means, the Nike Air Max LeBron VIII. Though I won’t go too in depth on on the sneaker for a little while, new and pretty detailed teaser shots of a sample pair have hit the Net. The sample features a leather/Flywire upper and a 360 Air Max Unit. The sample also features several LeBron hits including a Lion on the tongue and LeBron’s old logo, I’ll assume that LeBron will get a new logo with his number change, on the heel. The sample is also all White, once LeBron selects his new, or old team, for the upcoming season, the flavors will fall in line.
Just in time for the 4th of July weekend, Nike SB preps for the drop of it’s “Born in the U.S.A” Dunk High. Fully equipped with a stars and stripes motif, the kicks pay homage to the cover art of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born In The U.S.A.” album. Look out for an official drop tomorrow at finer Nike SB accounts.

Former 3sixteen associate Chris Watchorn has been busy in his hometown of Winnipeg, Canada as he prepares the launch of his art project titled, The 1 of 1 Project. Bringing together a talented mix of artists, a blank Vans sneaker becomes the canvas for each personality. The ultimate goal was to both promote and grow the local Winnipeg creative scene alongside raising funds for The Children’s Hospital Foundation of Winnipeg. Among the participants for this notable cause include Mark Dean Veca, Phil Annand, Larry Luk as well as Watchhorn himself. The artist sneakers will be auctioned off on June 25th via eBay with more details and looks into the respective atist submissions seen over at The 1 of 1 Project website. Our latest custom order took us to the ocean, and back, with water painted panels, contrasted by textured panels representing beach sand. The tongue and the back panel show scenes of a storm brewing in the distance to rain on the vacation. The clear soles carry the theme further, and add to the beach water effect to the shoes. These shoes make you feel like you looking and a serene beach painting hanging on a wall, and really depict the “Calm before the Storm.”

BePositive 2010 Fall/Winter Collection Lookbook
A display is put on of Italian footwear label BePositive’s extensive range of shoes for the Fall and Winter in this lookbook. The collection makes use of some already popular silhouettes including a Chukka, Boat, High Boot and Oxford, but re-imagined with the slightest of alterations. Enough though, to make each shoe its own. The leather and suede uppers and earthy palette choices are a safe bet and while these are all styles and materials we’ve seen before, you would be hardpressed to not find any one pair that suits your tastes.
